Johnny started his career at CBRE in 2014, then moved through Kidder Mathews and Marcus & Millichap, specializing in multifamily investment sales while advising private wealth and institutional clients. In 2023, he earned his California Broker license and opened ChangProGroup — bringing that same level of analysis and deal execution to clients directly, without a large firm's overhead in between.
As an independent broker, Johnny isn't boxed into one product type. He works across multifamily, commercial, residential, and development deals — and is conversational in Mandarin Chinese, a real asset for clients across Southern California's diverse ownership community.
Johnny also serves as an Acquisition Partner with Renaissance Partners LLC, an Orange County multifamily development firm whose team includes former CBRE executives and senior Orange County city planning officials. There, he sources and structures land and development deals — direct, hands-on experience that feeds back into the advice he gives his own clients.
